We’re sad to announce that Kynd will officially shut down on Dec 31, 2025.

After Dec 31, 2025, the app will no longer be available, and all user data will be permanently removed from our systems.

What does this mean?
• You will not be able to access your Kynd account, matches, likes, photos, or messages after Dec 31, 2025.
• If you wish to continue conversations with your matches, we encourage you to exchange contact details before this date.
• After shutdown, all data will be permanently deleted for your privacy and security.

Steps to Turn Off Auto-Renewal for Kynd Premium

iPhone / iPad (iOS)
Method A — via Settings
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap Kynd.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) and confirm.

Method B — via App Store
1. Open the App Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon (top-right).
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap Kynd → Cancel Subscription → confirm.
Note: If you don’t see a Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled or expired. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used to subscribe.


Android (Google Play)
1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon (top-right).
3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
4. Tap Kynd.
5. Tap Cancel subscription → choose a reason → Continue → Cancel subscription to confirm.
Tip: If Kynd isn’t listed, verify you’re using the same Google account you used to subscribe.

Important Notes (Both iOS & Android)
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal to avoid the next charge.
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- After canceling, you’ll keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds or billing issues are handled by Apple/Google (per their policies).

If you still can’t locate your subscription, confirm you’re signed into the same store account (Apple ID or Google account) you used at purchase.
Kynd 2.0 Relaunch on Jan 08, 2025

On Jan 08, 2025, Kynd will relaunch with a renewed focus on providing an elevated experience for the Nepali diaspora in US, UK, Canada and Australia.

What’s changing?
* Kynd will only be available in US, UK, Canada, and Australia after relaunch.
*
All current user accounts, matches, likes, photos, and messages will be permanently deleted on 01/04/2025.
* If you want to continue exploring connections with your matches, we encourage you to exchange contact details or communicate outside the app before 01/04/2025.

Once accounts are deleted, all user data will be removed from our database and cannot be recovered. We deeply apologize to our users in countries where Kynd will no longer be available. Our decision to shift focus to only US, UK, Canada, and Australia, allows us to raise and sustain the quality of user experience.

For users in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, we’re excited to introduce personalized and exciting features designed to elevate your experience on Kynd. Thank you for being part of the Kynd journey and for trusting us since day one. We look forward to serving you better as we continue to grow.

What if I'm not getting matches?

If you're not getting matches, consider updating your profile with clear photos and a thoughtful bio. Also, try adjusting your search criteria to broaden your potential matches. Be proactive in initiating conversations and remember that finding the right match may take time.
